Position Summary
The Quality Assurance (QA) Lead is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive quality assurance strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality software applications. This role involves adjusting QA test strategies for diverse projects, managing resource allocation, and advising on best practices and emerging technologies. The QA Lead will oversee the execution of various testing types, including functional, regression, integration, and end to end testing, while leading initiatives for automation testing to enhance efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
+ Strategic Planning: Develop and implement quality engineering strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure high-quality product delivery.
+ Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of quality engineers and testers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
+ Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively to meet project timelines and priorities, ensuring that the team is equipped to handle current and future projects.
+ Quality Assurance Processes: Design and oversee the execution of comprehensive testing plans, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
+ Automation Strategy: Develop and implement test automation strategies to improve testing efficiency and reduce manual effort, selecting appropriate tools and frameworks.
+ Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and operations, to align quality engineering efforts with business objectives.
+ Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the testing process and develop mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project delivery.
+ Metrics and Reporting: Establish and track quality metrics, providing regular reports to senior management on testing progress, quality status, and potential risks.
+ Continuous Improvement: Promote and implement best practices, tools, and techniques to enhance the quality engineering process and product quality.
+ Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on quality engineering activities and addressing any concerns or issues.
+ Compliance and Standards: Ensure that all quality engineering activities comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
+ Innovation and Technology: Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in quality engineering, integrating new tools and methodologies as appropriate.
+ Customer Focus: Ensure that quality engineering efforts are aligned with customer needs and expectations, contributing to high customer satisfaction.
+ Process Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of quality engineering processes, test cases, and results to support transparency and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
+ 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance Engineering
+ 5+ years of experience in collaborative environments and team dynamics
+ 5+ years of experience in execution and delivery of (planning, delivering, and supporting) testing
+ 2+ Experience Leading Quality Assurance Engineering resources
Preferred Qualifications
+ Certified Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
+ SAFe Agilist certification
+ DevOps Professional certification
+ Proficient at problem solving and decision making skills
Education
+ Bachelor of Computer Science or Master of Computer Applications (MCA) or Computer Science or equivalent work experience

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$101,970.00 - $203,940.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
