Description We are in search of a Compensation & Benefits Specialist to join our government sector team in Richmond, Virginia. As a Compensation & Benefits Specialist, your role will involve managing high volumes of Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) requests, administering benefits, and ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Handle and process a high volume of FMLA requests monthly.
• Compile and deliver approval or denial packets for FMLA requests, based on careful examination and interpretation of the law.
• Maintain accurate records of all FMLA requests, approvals, and denials.
• Ensure effective administration of benefits, including COBRA.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and accuracy in all processes.
• Utilize CRM and other software such as ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and Cisco Webex Meetings for efficient workflow.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, providing updates and addressing inquiries in a timely manner.
• Take appropriate action on customer accounts as required.
• Ensure accurate and efficient administration of claims.
• Continuously enhance knowledge in FMLA and other relevant laws and regulations. Requirements • Possession of relevant experience or knowledge in ADP - Financial Services.
• Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now software.
• Demonstrable skills in using Ceridian software.
• Familiarity with Cisco Webex Meetings, as it is an important tool for communication.
• Ability to efficiently use CRM software to manage and analyze customer interactions and data.
• Experience in auditing, particularly in the context of compensation and benefits.
• Understanding of various benefit functions and ability to manage them effectively.
• Skills in claim administration, with an ability to ensure smooth processing of compensation claims.
• Experience in Cobra Administration, handling the health insurance plans of employees.
• Excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and ability to manage related processes. TalentMatch®
