Description
We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our client's team in Birmingham, Alabama. This is a Contract-to-Permanent position, offering an opportunity to contribute to an established, dynamic organization. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in key HR functions, including employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance, while fostering a positive and productive workplace environment.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage employee relations, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts professionally and effectively.
• Administer benefits programs, ensuring compliance with regulations and providing guidance to employees on available options.
• Develop and implement hiring strategies to attract and retain top talent, aligning with the organization’s goals.
• Ensure company policies and procedures adhere to local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with leadership to support workforce planning and organizational development initiatives.
• Communicate HR policies and updates clearly to employees, fostering understanding and engagement.
• Monitor and evaluate HR metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
• Provide training and guidance to management on compliance, performance management, and employee engagement.
• Facilitate open communication across all levels of the organization to promote a culture of trust and transparency.
Requirements
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources management with strong attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration.
• Proven ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Familiarity with hiring processes, including talent acquisition and onboarding.
• Demonstrated expertise in ensuring compliance with labor laws and industry regulations.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion.
• Proficiency in using HR systems and tools to manage daily functions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
