Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Finance Manager in The Woodlands, Texas. The individual will be a key player in our team, ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes and systems. The role involves a high level of interaction with different departments within the organization, including shared services and IT, and external business process outsourcing partners. The Finance Manager will also be tasked with identifying and implementing process improvements, managing data governance and compliance, and troubleshooting system issues.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance and governance of master data, including auditing and user training.
• Identify, plan, and execute process improvements based on business requirements.
• Act as a liaison between the business, shared services, IT, and respective BPOs to identify gaps and duplicated efforts.
• Manage and resolve technical issues raised by super users, including troubleshooting and resolving errors related to SAP and other system issues.
• Facilitate the review of standard systems and future programs to enhance efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Manage function related tickets and requests efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure any role requests are vetted for segregation of duties conflicts prior to submitting to SOD Manager for approval.
• Regular review and response to audit controls to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain and administer all functional area process improvements with a thorough understanding of detailed business and systems processes.
• Work with management to develop, change, and keep up-to date documentation for procurement procedures globally. Requirements • Proven expertise in the use of 3M software.
• Proficiency in various Accounting Software Systems.
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services.
• Ability to efficiently use Concur software.
• Strong knowledge in CRM usage.
• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions.
• Experience handling Accounts Payable (AP).
• Proven skills in Auditing processes.
• Experience with Budget Processes.
• Knowledge of Capital Management.
