Robert Half is seeking an attorney with recent experience practicing in the healthcare space to assist our client with an ongoing legal research & development initiative.

Project information:

+ Start: May 2025

+ Duration: 6 months with possibility of extension

+ Pay: $42/hour

+ Location: Remote

+ Hours: 10-20 hours per week (flexible hours)

Responsibilities include:

Our client is seeking a recently practicing healthcare attorney representing clients in transactional, regulatory, and compliance matters with 5+ years of experience to help develop online legal products as a contractor. This attorney will help to develop “how-to”-type practical guidance for topics of interest to attorneys representing healthcare providers, hospitals and health systems, and Medicare and Medicaid managed care plans and ACOs. Experience advising clients about a wide range of health law issues, including provider recruiting and licensing, operational issues (e.g., governance, organizational structure, and compliance programs), healthcare fraud and abuse (e.g., anti-kickback, Stark, and FCA), and Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement and compliance is a must.

Requirements

+ Law degree from an accredited law school

+ Admitted to practice law in the United States with state bar membership in good standing

+ Minimum of 5 years recent experience as a health lawyer representing clients in transactional, regulatory, and compliance matters

+ Legal content writing experience, such as with bar association magazines or journals, law firm client alerts or newsletters, or other substantive legal publications

+ Excellent writing, legal research, and analysis skills

+ Ability to complete projects by assigned deadlines

+ Ability to accept feedback on writing and revise accordingly

+ Organized and self-motivated

+ Comfortable working in Microsoft Word & Excel
