Overview:
Robert Half is working with a respected and growing property management company to hire a Senior Commercial Property Manager. This leadership role is ideal for a seasoned property management professional with a proven track record in managing high-value commercial real estate portfolios. The Senior Commercial Property Manager will oversee complex assets, lead a team of property managers and assistants, and serve as a strategic partner to ownership groups and executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Directly manage a portfolio of high-profile commercial properties, including office, retail, or industrial assets.
+ Supervise and mentor junior property managers, assistant property managers, and administrative staff.
+ Develop and oversee annual operating budgets, capital expenditure plans, and long-term asset strategies.
+ Conduct in-depth financial analysis, prepare owner reports, and present property performance to stakeholders.
+ Oversee all property operations including maintenance, vendor management, tenant relations, and compliance.
+ Lead lease negotiations, renewals, and ensure proper lease administration and enforcement.
+ Manage CAM reconciliations, property tax reviews, and audit preparation.
+ Serve as the primary liaison between ownership, tenants, leasing agents, and contractors.
+ Implement sustainability and operational efficiency initiatives across the portfolio.
+ Drive tenant retention through proactive communication and service delivery.
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ 7+ years of commercial property management experience, with increasing levels of responsibility.
+ Demonstrated success in managing large, complex property portfolios and leading teams.
+ Deep understanding of lease structures, financial reporting, CAM reconciliations, and tenant relations.
+ Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
+ Proficient in property management software such as Yardi, MRI, or similar platforms.
+ Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
+ CPM or RPA designation strongly preferred.
+ Active Real Estate License required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
