Description We are looking for a skilled Collections Representative to join our team on a contract basis in Henrietta, New York. In this role, you will manage outstanding receivables and ensure smooth cash flow through effective communication and soft collections techniques. This position requires a strong focus on customer service while balancing the company's financial objectives with maintaining positive relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Perform soft collections by addressing overdue accounts professionally and empathetically.

• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and identify past-due accounts for follow-up.

• Document all interactions with customers, including collection activities and payment commitments.

• Collaborate with credit analysts to evaluate payment trends and resolve payment disputes.

• Provide customers with clear and prompt responses to inquiries about account balances, billing, and payments.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and offering mutually beneficial solutions.

• Assist in refining credit terms and account management strategies based on customer feedback.

• Ensure all collection activities align with company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Support efforts to improve overall cash flow while preserving customer satisfaction. Requirements • Proven experience in collections, accounts receivable, or customer service within a B2B environment.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle challenging conversations effectively.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including finance and credit departments.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Familiarity with credit analysis processes and financial modeling is a plus.

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail to identify payment trends and discrepancies.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
