Accounts Payable Specialist ONSITE in Westlake Village, California Caldera Medical's Mission - To Improve the Quality of Life for Women! Message from the Hiring Manager: Caldera Medical is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts payable functions, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. This role is an integral part of our financial operations and requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments. Key Responsibilities * Review and record daily invoices upon receipt. * Apply daily payments. * Prepare necessary month-end accruals and submit them to the Senior Accountant for recording. * Multi company and foreign currency payment processing. * Run, review, and distribute weekly AP reports. * Ensure new vendors and suppliers are recorded correctly. * Maintain 1099 records. * Match PO receipts with invoices as needed. Sales Taxes * Record and reconcile sales tax activity. * Ensure filings are up to date. * Verify that all sales tax payments are made timely and accurately. * Address state sales tax notices promptly. Qualifications & Skills * 3+ years of experience in accounts payable or a related field. * Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent work experience preferred. * Experience working with automated payable systems. * Proficiency in accounting software and ERP System (experience with Oracle Fusion is a plus). * Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and best practices. * Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Effective communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
