Robert Half (Technology Solutions) is searching for a IT Support Engineer with a background in Microsoft 365, Windows OS, and Customer Service. If this sounds like your background, then this IT Support Engineer role is for you. For this opportunity, you will work hybrid remote in the San Luis Obispo, CA area.

Position: IT Support Engineer

Hours/Duration: 40 hrs/wk; M-F; CTH/FTE

Salary: 75-85k is the sweet spot (flex up to 100k) | includes sign-on bonus + elite benefits + stock options

Requirements

+ Tech Support, Imaging/Deployment, Assets/Inventory, In-House User Support (as Sole IT person onsite)

+ Windows OS environment (Laptops), 4 Mac users onsite (Mac nice-to-have)

+ Microsoft 365 Online

+ Fresh Service IT Ticketing System (other ticketing experience will suffice)

+ Ticket Requests: Workstation, laptop, device, endpoint, printer, and peripheral hardware, software, connectivity requests

+ Background supporting advanced software packages (engineering company that supports niche systems, provisioning software, etc.)

+ Want Great Soft Skills to interact with customers and represent the company as a whole

+ Good documentation, efficient follow-up, organized ticketing notes

+ Culture: Team & Family-Oriented Group, Customer Service-Centric Group, All Get Along, Positive Attitude

+ Engineering background (nice to have)
