Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Revenue Accountant to join our team in Greeley, Colorado. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in oil and gas revenue accounting, particularly in managing non-operated assets. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate revenue reporting, maintaining compliance with industry standards, and supporting financial reporting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Review and process monthly revenue statements from third-party operators to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Record revenue entries and allocation data in accounting systems such as Excalibur or OGSys.

• Reconcile revenue and royalty reports with ownership records and investigate any discrepancies.

• Analyze revenue variances, identify root causes, and collaborate with operators to resolve issues.

• Monitor and manage revenue streams from a portfolio of non-operated assets.

• Maintain division of interest records and support ownership updates in collaboration with land and legal teams.

• Prepare revenue schedules for financial reporting and assist in audits by providing necessary documentation.

• Contribute to process improvements by streamlining reconciliation and reporting tasks using Excel and other tools.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal controls for revenue processes.

• Maintain organized revenue documentation and support data management initiatives. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• A minimum of 4–6 years of experience in oil and gas revenue accounting, with a focus on non-operated assets.

• Proficiency in industry-specific software such as Excalibur, OGSys, or WolfePak.

• Strong knowledge of division orders, royalties, and production allocation methods.

• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas.

• Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail for identifying and resolving discrepancies.

• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with external operators and internal teams.

• Knowledge of financial reporting processes and compliance requirements in the oil and gas industry.
