Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures. This is an onsite position, offering a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in payroll operations.

This role is 100% on-site

Responsibilities:

• Accurately input payroll data into the system to ensure timely and correct processing.

• Verify and reconcile payroll records to maintain data integrity and compliance.

• Assist in resolving payroll-related discrepancies and inquiries from employees.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date payroll documentation for auditing and reporting purposes.

• Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure smooth and efficient payroll operations.

• Monitor and adhere to deadlines for payroll submissions and adjustments.

• Support the implementation of payroll best practices and identify areas for process improvement.

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

• Perform other administrative tasks related to payroll as assigned.

Requirements • Proven experience in payroll processing or a related role.

• Proficiency in data entry with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Strong computer skills, including familiarity with payroll software and Microsoft Office.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet strict deadlines.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve payroll discrepancies.

• Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations is preferred.
