Description

We are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee and manage construction projects in New York, New York. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in commercial construction, ensuring that all project operations run efficiently and adhere to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans, timelines, and safety protocols.

• Review and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and other technical documents to guide project execution.

• Manage submittals and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

• Oversee the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, including preparation, documentation, and response evaluations.

• Ensure that all OSHA regulations and safety standards are strictly followed on-site.

• Utilize construction management software, such as Procore or Premier, to track project progress and documentation.

• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality control and address any potential issues.

• Collaborate with procurement teams to source materials and manage vendor relationships effectively.

• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders to provide updates on project milestones and challenges.

• Lead project meetings to discuss progress, address concerns, and align team efforts.

Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, preferably in commercial projects.

• Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and technical documents.

• OSHA certification is required.

• Familiarity with construction management software such as Procore or Premier is an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of the RFP process, including preparation, evaluation, and documentation.

• Exceptional organizational and leadership skills to manage teams and subcontractors effectively.

• Comprehensive understanding of submittals and procurement processes.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities to handle on-site challenges.
