Description We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with extensive experience in HR operations, compliance with Texas labor laws, and a commitment to fostering a positive and safe workplace environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to align HR policies with both legal requirements and organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with Texas employment laws, including wage and hour regulations, family leave policies, anti-discrimination guidelines, and employee rights.
• Develop and implement workplace safety programs, conducting assessments and training to maintain compliance with safety standards.
• Provide guidance to leadership on employee relations matters such as performance management, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
• Manage workers' compensation claims, ensuring timely documentation and resolution.
• Create and update HR policies to reflect best practices and adhere to state and federal regulations.
• Oversee HR administrative functions, including onboarding, benefits administration, and performance evaluations.
• Maintain accurate and compliant HR documentation and optimize recordkeeping systems.
• Facilitate training sessions on labor laws, workplace safety, and conflict resolution to enhance employee and managerial knowledge.
• Identify opportunities for employee development and establish career progression strategies to support organizational growth.
• Lead initiatives to improve HR systems and processes, demonstrating self-direction and strategic thinking. Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on compliance and employee relations.
• Strong knowledge of Texas employment laws and workplace safety regulations.
• Proficiency in HR systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and Dayforce.
• Experience managing employee benefits, FMLA, and other labor-related processes.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to mediate disputes and foster collaboration.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver training programs for employees and managers.
• Familiarity with HR databases and recordkeeping practices to ensure legal compliance.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
