HOW A SYSTEMS ENGINEER SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

+ Contributes to completion of major engineering programs and projects

+ Assists in solutions to a variety of highly complex engineering problems

+ Assists in highly complex systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end

+ Assists in overseeing highly complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools, Firewalls, Switches

+ Performs highly complex systems modeling, simulation, and analysis

+ Performs continual maintenance and provides highly complex solutions for security, backup, and redundancy problems

+ Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects

+ Maintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology and works with management to evolve current processes

+ May provide guidance to less-experienced professionals

+ May serve as a team or task lead

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

**Required Experience:** BA/BS degree and 8+ years of related experience additional years can be considered in lieu of degree

Required Technical Skills:

**Software:** scripting (bash, tcsh, Java Script, Python)

**Operating Systems:** Linux (must), Windows

**Other Skills:** Networking, Firewalls, Switches, Systems Integration, Security (IPSEC), agile experience, GitLab

The likely salary range for this position is $98,062 - $132,672. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
