Our work depends on a **Director of Engineering** joining our team to support the Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) activities.

As a **Director of Engineering** supporting PEO IWS, you will be trusted to bring together a multi-disciplinary team that is geographically dispersed to provide engineering planning, design, integration, installation, and test of Aegis Combat Systems (ACS) onboard ships post-construction and during maintenance availabilities.
Specific responsibilities include:
+ Fully responsible for cost / schedule / performance associated with all Engineering activities associated with the delivery of ACS SI&T services and products
+ Sets the strategic direction for IWS 1 agency, TDP development, technical surge efforts and innovation efforts
+ Directs the efforts of Engineering sub-teams, such as Physical Engineering, Command and Control Engineering, SPY Engineering, Design and Integration Engineering and Topside Engineering
+ Develops highly complex business strategies to achieve business targets
+ Keeps current with cutting edge business and economic trends to forecast how the business will need to adapt and change over time
+ Manages or supervises multiple departments and disciplines
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
+ A Bachelor of Arts or Science (BA/BS) in the relevant field and 15+ years of relevant experience (or 20+ years of experience without a degree).
+ Active Secret clearance is required with the ability to obtain Top Secret. Active Top Secret clearance is desired.
+ Ability to work collaboratively as part of the larger GDIT Navy and Marine Corps Sector.
+ U.S. Citizenship is required.

The likely salary range for this position is $182,873 - $247,417. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
