HOW AN INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYST ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Performs all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction

• Understands Department of Defense (DOD) RMF based Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes and procedures

• Understands CIS-based A&A processes and associated stand-alone Security Control Traceability Matrix (SCTM) development

• Executes applicable test and verification methods for security requirements/controls

• Executes applicable domain-based security tools (Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Secure Content Automation Protocol (SCAP), ACAS, and Nessus)

• Performs analysis of, and develops reports for, system test results across multiple security domains

• Using XACTA, eMASS, and manual processes; develops and reviews RMF and CIS A&A packages across commercial and DOD unclassified and classified domains

• Ability to independently assess RMF security controls and develop supporting documentation

• Ensures security controls are implemented correctly, operating as intended, and are producing the desired outcome

• This position requires interaction with DoD community customers and industry providers

• Maintains current knowledge of industry standard Information Assurance best practices

• Participates in special projects as required

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree: BA/BS or equivalent years of experience

• Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience

• Required Technical Skills: RMF, XACTA, eMASS, ACAS, DISA STIGs

• Certification: 8570 certification: IAM Level II Certification (CAP, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC, CCISO)

• Security Clearance Level: TOP SECRET with SCI

• Required Skills and Abilities: Analysis and documentation of testing results

• Location: On Customer Site, MacDill AFB, FL

• US Citizenship Required

The likely salary range for this position is $106,250 - $143,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
