Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Supervisor/Manager to lead our accounts receivable operations in Yukon, Oklahoma. This contract-to-permanent position offers the opportunity to oversee the billing and collections processes, ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial records while driving improvements in cash flow and collections. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership abilities and a detail-oriented approach to optimize the department’s performance.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the accounts receivable team, including recruiting, training, and evaluating staff to meet departmental objectives.
• Oversee the complete accounts receivable cycle, ensuring accurate billing and timely application of payments while maintaining funding sources and guarantor setups.
• Analyze accounts receivable trends, generate reports on metrics such as collection rates and aging analysis, and provide actionable insights for improvement.
• Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with other managers to strategize and implement process improvements aimed at enhancing collections and operational efficiency.
• Facilitate external audits by providing accurate financial data and ensuring compliance with audit requirements, including Single Audit A-133.
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and payor-specific billing regulations while maintaining accurate financial records and implementing procedural updates as needed.
• Monitor team productivity and conduct regular meetings to align on strategies and departmental goals. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a closely related field is required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Familiarity with accounting software systems and tools such as 3M, ADP, Concur, and CRM.
• Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and auditing processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior management.
• Knowledge of healthcare industry billing practices and regulations is highly desirable.
