Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Personal Injury Legal Assistant in Dallas, Texas. This role involves a variety of tasks within the legal industry, with a focus on tasks such as managing attorney's calendars, drafting documents, and providing backup on phones when required. The role will be based in-office and fluency in Spanish or Russian is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain accurate attorney's calendars

• Provide support in drafting legal petitions and pleadings

• Handle scheduling of depositions and mediations diligently

• Ensure efficient processing and filing of petitions and citations

• Act as a backup for phone handling when required

• Accurately answer Discovery on behalf of the team

• Follow up on process service

• Maintain client relations and ensure effective communication

• Use Microsoft Office and Needles for various tasks

Requirements

• Capable of managing calendars, including scheduling appointments and meetings

• Experience in claim administration, including filing and tracking legal claims

• Proven skills in client relations, including maintaining positive relationships with clients

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken.
