Description

Robert Half has partnered with a brand new civil litigation defense firm in based Downtown San Diego looking for a Full-Time Litigation Attorney. The position is budgeted from 130K - 180K depending on experience, you are bonus eligible and you can be remote as long as you live in So Cal. They are looking to add attorneys living in LA, OC, or SD.

The firm is a boutique spin off of a larger national firm and they are growing an amazing culture where you will have the opportunity to be mentored by the senior partners. Their practice areas include: transportation, complex litigation, personal injury, and much more. This role is open due to influx of work and you would be joining their team of 6 attorneys.

Responsibilities include:

+ Comprehensive management of a full case load of pre-litigation and active litigation files.

+ Draft legal documents including pleadings, discovery, discovery motions, dispositive motions, and trial preparation documents.

+ Collaborate with attorneys to prepare for meetings, depositions, and negotiations, providing valuable insights and strategic advice.

+ Conduct legal research to advise clients of the merits of their claims and those asserted against them.

+ Negotiate with clients, opposing counsel, and other interested parties to resolve legal disputes and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

+ Communicate with clients regarding case status and strategy.

+ Offer strategic guidance and support to junior attorneys, contributing to their professional growth and development.

Requirements

+ Licensed to practice in California

+ 2+ years of experience within civil litigation

+ JD from an accredited law school

+ Ability to work onsite a few days per week in Downtown San Diego

+ Team player
