Shift: 7:30am - 4:00pm

We are looking to add a screen printer to our team in Guilderland Center, NY!

The screen printer role is responsible for the creation of well-designed PPE equipment articles that fully meet the customer's logo specifications by prepping and printing via manual and automatic machines. To ensure success as a screen printer, you should exhibit advanced artistic skills, have the ability to stand for long hours, be comfortable with manual labor in a light industrial environment, and have excellent hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities Include:

+ Examine work orders to determine estimated printing times, ink, and material quantities.

+ Design screen patterns according to customer specifications.

+ Select appropriate screen size, degreasing agents, and emulsion coatings.

+ Load screens into the printing press, both manual and auto.

+ Mix inks in order to color match PMS / Pantone Colors.

+ Install and reposition screen to ensure proper registration of images.

+ Run prints and perform quality checks throughout the printing process.

+ Troubleshoot problems as they arise.

+ Dry, fold and pack completed articles.

+ Follow safety guidelines and procedures when operating equipment and handling products.

+ Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate effective productivity.

+ Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and compliance regulations.

Requirements:

+ High School Diploma or equivalent.

+ Previous work experience as a screen printer preferred.

+ Excellent hand-eye coordination.

+ High level of creative and artistic skills.

+ Ability to stand for long periods.

+ Ability to work with ink and chemicals every day.

+ Ability to manually operate large machinery in a light industrial environment.

+ Ability to work Independently with little supervision.

+ Ability to work nights if required.

+ Other duties as assigned.
