+ **Work location:** Texas Health Southwest, 6100 Harris Parkway, Fort Worth, TX 76132 **and** Texas Health Clearfork, 5400 Clearfork Main St, Ft. Worth, TX 76109
+ **Work hours:** PRN: On an as needed basis, 8-hour shifts, variable schedule, between 7AM-4:30PM, Mandatory – 2 to 3 weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday) per quarter; 1 major and 1 minor holiday coverage per year; weekday shifts available

Here’s What You Need
• Bachelor's Degree Completion of a Physical Therapy program Required.
• Prefer 1-year acute care Physical Therapy experience.
• Outpatient experience is a plus.
• PT - Physical Therapist Texas Physical Therapy License Upon Hire Required And
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Problem- solving ability; Ability to teach others.
• Time management skills; Good interpersonal and customer service skills, Basic leadership skills.
What You Will Do
* Performs age-appropriate patient assessment and establishes plan of care.
* Uses therapeutic treatment techniques appropriate to patient age and desire for treatment.
* Educates patient and family through instruction, demonstration, and/or appropriate handouts in treatment plan, safety issues, home
programs/self-management and assistive equipment.
* Documents all aspects of assessment, plan of care, and re-certifications in accordance with departmental, TJC, Medicare, and other applicable regulatory guidelines.
* Works in partnership with peers, other disciplines, and departmental personnel
* Focus on Daily Living Skills, Mobility and Cognition of patients.
