Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking a Process Engineer Professional Associate Level for the San Francisco, CA office.
Responsibilities will include:
Responsible for the Process Flow Diagram (PFD) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) development. Preparing and evaluating bid and purchase specifications for process and clean utility equipment. Calculating loads for clean utilities, line sizing, and distribution design (e.g. water for injection, clean steam, process gases). Calculating and organizing data and interfacing with other Jacobs’s disciplines, such as instrument data for I&C or electrical loadings, HVAC, etc. Utilizing knowledge of PipeFlo (Professional and Compressible), AFT Products (Arrow and Fathom), and Plant design software such as ASPEN.
Telecommuting/Hybrid schedule is allowed.
Travel: 30% domestic travel to client site.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Chemical Engineering or related field and 3 years of work experience as a Process Engineer or related occupation. In Lieu of the requirements listed above, employer will accept: bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Chemical Engineering or related field and 5 years of work experience as a Process Engineer or related occupation.
SPECIFIC SKILLS: Expertise/Knowledge of: PFD and P&ID development. Preparing and evaluation of bid/purchasing specifications. Calculating and organizing data. Calculations (utility loads, line sizing, distribution design). Knowledge of cGMP regulations.
