• AWS Cloud Virtualization Lead

    Cognizant (Mountain View, CA)


    Cognizant is seeking an AWS Cloud Virtualization Lead. This is a remote role. The candidate needs to be located in the United States. The salary range for this role is between $117,000 and $135,000 depending on the experience and qualifications of the candidate. All candidates must have valid work authorization. We are unable to offer visa sponsorships.

    The successful candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication and a customer-centric approach. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and as part of a team to ensure smooth IT operations and end-user satisfaction especially during peak periods.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist with the installation configuration upgrades, maintenance and operation of physical and virtual endpoints (AWS Workspaces).

    • Create and maintain devices configuration procedural and technical documentation.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents.

    • Develop and maintain physical and virtual standards and operational documentation.

    • Respond to communications from customers regarding problems or concerns in a timely and professional manner.

    • Maintain and develop strong relationships with customers with direct interaction with focus on improving customers’ perception of on time delivery quality responsiveness problem solving and service.

    • Other duties assigned as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • 5 years’ experience with installation, operations and upgrade of AWS Workspaces.

    • 3 to 5 years of experience with Terraform

    • 3 to 5 years of experience with Incident Management/Support.

    • 3 to 5 years of Windows Desktop Support experience.
