GENERAL PURPOSE: Ensure that all utility work is complete, trash is managed, fountain is washed, and stock at the presses. Ensure that all anilox rolls are cleaned and returned to designated presses and that supplies are stocked at the presses at all times. Wash print stations whenever possible and assist as a press helper when needed. Keep rewinder supplied with all necessary components to perform job and support 5S program.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

* Manages waste and maintains order in work area.

* Ensures each rewinder has supplies to perform his/her job.

* Cuts cores for each specific job.

* Empties trash.

* Replenishes each Rewind station.

* Orders supplies and organizes supplies when delivered.

* Cuts cores for other areas as needed.

* Keeps blades changed and core area clean, neat and organized.

* Assists rewind area when needed on other machinery or packing.

* Takes skids to shipping daily.

* Operates core cutter, table top and Arpeco machines.

* Supports the 5-Basics.

* Keeps anilox rolls cleaned and returned to the press area.

* Keeps the press area supplied with the necessary supplies in order to minimize down time.

* Aids in print station clean up.

* Operates motorized lifts daily.

* Occasionally watches presses through breaks.

* Performs other job duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Must have high school diploma or G.E.D.

* Must have 3-6 months related experience.

* Must have basic personal computer skills including e-mail and word processing.

* Must be mechanically inclined.

* Must be able to read and use a ruler.

* Must pass color vision and color hue tests.

* Must have the ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.

* Must be able to write and speak simple sentences.

* Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

* Must be able to perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

* Must be able to work well with others in a team environment.

* Must be able to maintain good attendance.

* Must be willing to work overtime as needed.

* Must be able to perform all essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
