    Job Title: Hygiene Production Assistant

     

    Hours / Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

     

    Type: Direct Hire

     

    Compensation: $18 - $20 per hour depending on experience, plus $2K bonus and generous benefits package

    Responsibilities

    + Wash and sanitize production trays, racks, bins and accessories

    + Clean walk off sanitation mats

    + Collect trash in production and warehouse areas and place in collection bin

    + Document cleaning on designated logs

    + Ensure that cleaners in the washing area are clearly labeled

    + Assist Manufacturing

    + Preparing trays and cartons for packing

    + Packing and metal detection of finished products

    + Spread granulated product onto trays

    + Weigh and pack finished products (as needed)

    + Apply labels on packaged product containers (as needed)

    + Cross train to assist and back-up Quality Plant Hygienist with various facility cleaning activities.

    + Other duties as assigned

    Requirements

    + High School diploma is required

    + Valid Driver’s License & car required

    + Cleaning experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

    + Must be able to safely lift 50lbs

    + Self-motivated, able to perform work while standing for most of the day

    + Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team
