    Senior Drafter

    System One is currently seeking a Senior Drafter on a 3 year contract position located in Forest Park, GA.

    Drafter Responsibilities:

    + Lead effort to develop 2D and 3D CAD models and/or 2D drawings based on information provided by designers and engineers.

    + Revise existing 2D drawings to support plant retrofit projects.

    + Lead plant-site walkdowns to obtain field data and dimensional information for design purposes.

    Drafter Requirements:

    + 10+ years of drafting experience.

    + An associate’s degree in drafting and design is preferred.

    + Experience using CAD software and design tools.

    + Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

    + Knowledge of engineering design principles and standards.

    + Ability to lead a small and medium sized project.

    + Commitment to quality, safety, and design excellence.

    + Ability to build effective relationships with plant staff, design engineering staff and/or vendors.

    + Familiar with SCS Line Design processes and procedures.

    + Previous SCS Line Design experience in FPK is highly preferred.

     

    Duration: 3 years

     

    Pay Rate: $54/hr
