    Sunstates Security is hosting a Hiring Event for Security Officers on Thursday, May 8th, from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

     

    Meet with Hiring Managers forFull-Time, Part-Time, and Flex positions on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shiftsin Liberty, Missouri and Kansas City, and Edgerton, Kansas.

     

    Various days and shifts are available with a pay range of$18.45 - $22.50/hr, with weekly pay.Pay is based on position.

    Kansas City, Kansas 66109

     

    The location is the Homewood Suites by Hilton Kansas Speedway.

     

    This is a walk-in event. Come prepared to interview with our hiring managers.

    Requirements:

    + Be able to obtain a Security License.

    + Excellent customer service skills.

    + Security officer, law enforcement, and/or military experience is aplus.

    + Good verbal and written communication skills.

    + Willing and able to work holidays, weekends, and in all weather conditions.

    + Ability to pass criminal background and drug screen pre-hire.

    + Must have availability to work all shifts, mornings, evenings, and overnights for Flex positions.

    + Must have reliable transportation.

    + Must regularly walk or stand for extended periods of time and distance.

    A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.

     

    Education Requirements (Any)

     

    High School diploma or equivalent
