    We are partnering with a global leader in the water, hygiene, and energy technology space to hire a dedicated **Collections Specialist** for their Naperville-based financial operations. This company powers smarter solutions that protect people and vital resources worldwide.

     

    **Location:** Naperville, IL (100% onsite)

    **Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

    **Pay Rate:** $26.34/hr

    **Type of Hire:** Temporary (with interview and manager review required)

    **Dress Code:** Business casual

     

    As a **Collections Specialist** , you’ll be responsible for locating and communicating with customers with delinquent accounts to secure payments and maintain accurate records of all interactions. This role will lean heavily on your negotiation skills, financial knowledge, and customer service expertise.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + **Receive and post payments** to customer accounts

    + **Monitor and locate overdue accounts** using various tools

    + **Confer with customers** via phone or in person to resolve overdue payment issues

    + **Negotiate and establish repayment schedules** based on financial situations

    + **Maintain thorough documentation** and update account records

    Qualifications:

    + **5–7 years** of experience in finance or customer service

    + **High school diploma or GED required**

    + **Excellent communication and negotiation skills**

    + Strong experience with **Microsoft Office** and collections software

    + Knowledge of **collection policies and debt recovery techniques**

    **Pay Details:** $26.34 per hour
