Logistics Manager

Compensation: $100,000 – $135,000 annual salary + Bonus + Benefits
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to oversee logistics, warehousing, and transportation functions across a fast-paced, globally connected organization. This role is integral to optimizing the supply chain, enhancing operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional service across multiple sites and markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Execution
+ Develop and implement long-term strategies for logistics, warehousing, and transportation aligned with business goals.
+ Identify and lead cost-reduction and scalability initiatives.
Operational Efficiency
+ Streamline logistics operations to boost productivity and ensure supply chain efficiency.
Supply Chain Integration
+ Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply & Demand Planning, Sales, Production, and Customer Solutions teams to drive synergies.
Transportation Strategy
+ Oversee inbound/outbound logistics to reduce costs and improve service quality; coordinate with factories, external vendors, and HQ in Europe.
Technology & Digitalization
+ Lead the digital transformation of logistics using TMS, WMS, SAP, and eWM systems to improve operational visibility and performance.
Customer-Centric Focus
+ Align logistics strategies with customer expectations to improve lead times and service satisfaction.
KPI Development & Monitoring
+ Establish and monitor KPIs to assess logistics and warehouse performance and drive ongoing improvements.
Cost Management & Budgeting
+ Develop and manage budgets while identifying and executing cost-saving opportunities.
Regulatory Compliance
+ Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and internal audit protocols (including GSEB standards).
Inventory Management
+ Develop robust inventory strategies to ensure accuracy, minimize waste, and maintain reliable stock levels through cycle counts and audits.
Safety & Risk Management Collaboration
+ Work closely with Safety Managers to enforce security and safety measures across all logistics operations.
Leadership & Team Development
+ Lead and develop high-performing logistics and warehouse teams. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Other Duties
+ Perform additional responsibilities as needed in support of organizational goals.
What You Bring:
+ **Experience:** 5+ years in logistics and warehousing leadership roles, ideally within a manufacturing or spare parts/equipment environment with a global, multi-site footprint.
+ **Education:** Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
+ **Skills:** Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Budgeting, Digital Systems Implementation, Cross-functional Collaboration.
+ **Traits:** Visionary leadership, strong organizational and strategic thinking skills, collaborative mindset, and excellent communication abilities.
