**Job Title:** Quality Documentation Specialist

**Pay Rate:** $ 32.00/hour
**Shift:** Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Job Description:
Adecco is currently assisting a local client in recruiting for a **Quality Documentation Specialist** in **Manassas, VA** . This is a **6-month temporary opportunity** with the possibility of becoming permanent. As a Quality Documentation Specialist, you will support the Quality Assurance department by maintaining the Quality System documentation, issuing and reviewing batch records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards including SQF, HACCP, FQP, and cGMP.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Create, revise, and manage all Quality System documentation using technical writing best practices.
+ Issue batch records to Production and Packaging departments accurately and promptly.
+ Review completed batch records for compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
+ Support third-party certifications and customer audits by preparing relevant documentation.
+ Route, review, and obtain approvals for controlled documents, deviations, and change controls.
+ Conduct internal audits and document non-conformances.
+ Participate in New Product Introductions (NPIs) and Change Control processes.
+ Track and help implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
+ Collaborate across departments to maintain specifications and process documentation.
+ Manage quality data using computerized systems for traceability and performance tracking.
+ Ensure ongoing compliance with SQF, HACCP, FQP, FDA, and cGMP requirements.
+ Maintain product integrity through adherence to quality and safety standards.
+ Attend all required training and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Perform additional duties as assigned by Quality Management.
Qualifications:
+ Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science or related field preferred.
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
+ Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills.
+ Strong analytical, documentation, and organizational skills.
+ Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, SQF, and Quality Systems required.
+ Ability to read and follow SOPs and technical documents.
