Supply Chain Specialist

**Role Overview:** The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for managing specific sourcing projects and acting as a bridge between the site and regional teams. They handle supplier issues, manage site-specific commodities, and ensure compliance with sourcing rules.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Monitor material costs and inform finance teams.
+ Maintain sourcing rules in the ERP system.
+ Identify productivity improvements and communicate them to regional teams.
+ Coordinate with quality and engineering for sample approvals.
+ Assist with supplier changes and documentation projects.
+ Resolve supplier-related issues and manage discrepancies.
+ Handle site-specific sourcing tasks and supplier qualifications.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
+ 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, transportation, or heavy construction.
+ 2-4 years of purchasing experience.
Key Competencies:
+ Ability to work independently and in teams.
+ Clear communication and presentation skills.
+ Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
+ Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and Microsoft Office.
+ Knowledge of import/export laws and quality systems.
Physical Demands:
+ Regularly required to talk, hear, sit, stand, and lift up to 25 pounds.
+ Must wear safety equipment in the shop environment.
+ May need to travel up to 10% of the time.
Work Environment:
+ Mostly office-based with occasional exposure to shop environments and extreme weather conditions.
**Pay Details:** $40.00 per hour
