Adecco is assisting a local client to place a Mold Operator in Tucson, AZ.
SUMMARY:
The Molding Machine Operator sets up, operates, or tends metal or plastic molding, casting, or core making machines to Mold thermoplastic parts or products.
The employee must comply with all quality, safety and working instructions valid.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Operate injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
2. Monitor the quality of molded products, adjusting machines as necessary to maintain product quality.
3. Perform routine maintenance on machinery, such as cleaning and lubricating parts, to ensure optimal performance.
4. Inspect completed products for defects, such as cracks, bubbles, or color inconsistencies.
5. Measure and visually inspect products for surface and dimension defects using precision measuring instruments.
6. Set up, clean, and change over machines for different product runs as needed.
7. Record production data, including volume produced, downtime, scrap, reject rates, and machine efficiency.
8. Adhere to all safety regulations and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
9. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve production processes and product quality.
JOB SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Education / Licensure / Experience:
• HS diploma or GED preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Prior injection molding experience.
Soft skills: Teamwork, committed with team and company, Open for learning and for career growth.

**Pay Details:** $17.00 per hour
