Job Title: Inventory SpecialistJob Description
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to join our team. As a key player in a 3PL company that stores and ships freight for various clients, you will manage inventory with a team of four specialists. Your role is vital in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management system.
Responsibilities
+ Manage inventory by looking up item numbers, printing orders, and processing them through the system.
+ Verify and count inventory in the warehouse and address any discrepancies.
+ Track down orders if items have been pulled or received incorrectly.
+ Perform stock and inventory movements and adjustments using a computer.
+ Work independently to account for a given set of numbers within a specified period.
+ Maintain high attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
Essential Skills
+ High School Diploma
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially for email communication with customers
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Strong attention to detail
+ Experience in a logistics, transportation, or distribution setting
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Customer service experience
+ Order processing and order entry skills
+ Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Work Environment
The Inventory Specialist will work in an office setting alongside four other Inventory Specialists. The role requires regular interaction with the warehouse environment to verify and count inventory.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.86 - $17.86/hr.
