• Senior Loan Accountant

    Aston Carter (Charlotte, NC)


    Responsibilities:

    + Accounting Preparation: Journal entries, compliance with GAAP/FCA, invoice coding, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, cash clearing accounts, Board of Directors file maintenance.

    + Accounting Support: Bank balancing, issue resolution, journal entries, data entry, compliance.

    + Account Reconciliation: Monitor and reconcile accounts, resolve issues, contact clients, correct items, guide team members.

    + Accounting Entries: Prepare complex accounting processes.

    + Accounting & Planning Coordination: Training, request fulfillment, ICFR controls, close cycle processing.

    + Project and Process Improvements: Participate in projects, test plans, documentation, process improvements.

    + Relationship Management: Liaison with Board of Directors, client requests, issue resolution.

    Qualifications:

    + Loan Accounting experience is a MUST HAVE

    + Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.

    + Experience: 2+ years of public accounting or 5+ years of related experience; CPA preferred.

    + Knowledge: Advanced accounting, cash operations, internal controls, GAAP, financial reporting, FCA regulations, loan accounting.

    + Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, general ledger/accounts payable systems, reconciliation systems, enterprise performance management.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $39.00/hr.
