Job Title: Master Scheduler/Planner
Job Description
We are seeking a highly competent Master Production Planner/Scheduler with extensive experience in SAP to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up the master schedule, forecasting, and identifying root causes of forecasting issues.
This role requires a strong background in running the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process, gathering information from the sales team, and developing inventory and capacity plans. The candidate will also be responsible for presenting forecasting data to executives and ensuring the consensus forecast is accurately reflected in our systems.
Responsibilities
+ Set up and maintain the master schedule in SAP, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
+ Identify and resolve root causes of forecasting issues.
+ Run the SIOP process, gather information from the sales team, and develop inventory and capacity plans.
+ Own the majority of the SIOP process, ensuring that consensus output is communicated to the larger team and accurately entered into the forecast.
+ Collaborate with Production, Operations, and Material Control teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
+ Present forecasting data and insights to company executives, providing clear and actionable information.
Essential Skills
+ Proficient in SAP, especially in master scheduling and forecasting.
+ Experience in production planning and scheduling.
+ Strong forecasting skills.
+ Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Business.
+ Proficient in Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.).
Work Environment
You will work cross-functionally with Operations, Production, Materials, and other departments in an office space provided.
This role offers room for growth, with potential to backfill the Assistant Materials Manager position.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $43.27/hr.
