Job Title: Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer
Job Description
Our team is looking for a Network Operations Center Engineer who will help us maintain our reputation as a trusted partner. The ideal candidate will provide 24/7 monitoring support for the IoT Network, execute the Incident Management Process, and continuously contribute to improving network quality and customer success.
Responsibilities
+ Provide 24/7 monitoring support for the IoT Network to minimize and prevent identified service impacts when possible.
+ Execute the Incident Management Process, monitor strategy, and identify process improvements to ensure network quality.
+ Assess, draft, and deliver Root Cause Analysis in a timely manner to internal and external customers.
+ Continuously contribute to improving and achieving customer and global IoT Business Unit success.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with NOC operations and incident management.
+ Proficiency in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and problem resolution.
+ Knowledge of firewall and 5G technologies.
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 5+ years of relevant experience.
+ Experience with SQL-like databases.
+ Experience in a SaaS or hosted application service provider environment.
Work Environment
The position requires night shift work from Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday, with flexibility needed from 2pm to 11pm EST. There is very little on-call responsibility. You will collaborate with your NOC counterparts and cross-functional peers in Customer Support and Engineering, as well as provide direct support to Service Providers and feedback to the Executive Leadership Team.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $46.00/hr.
