    Responsibilities

    + Manage overall engineering design efforts for both Design-Only and EPC projects to optimize safety, schedule, and profitability.

    + Lead and mentor a talented team of multi-discipline professionals, ensuring project success and fostering a collaborative environment.

    + Implement and manage the Quality Program for engineering designs, ensuring that every project meets the highest standards.

    + Prepare and manage final engineering labor-hour budgets, keeping projects on track and within budget.

    + Partner with a projects controls team to manage the engineering design schedule, budget, and progress measurement function.

    + Prepare, submit, and manage client change orders, building strong relationships with our clients.

    + Oversee subcontracted product procurement and/or engineering design efforts.

    + Direct and manage field services, ensuring flawless project execution on the ground.

    + Correspond and meet with clients, contractors, and vendors to build rapport and maintain strong working relationships.

    + Lead project proposal efforts, showcasing innovative designs and solutions.

    + Present designs and proposals to clients, permitting authorities, public interest groups, and more.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited university.

    + 7 years of direct project engineering experience managing design efforts for Design-only and EPC projects.

    + Strong facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.

    + Highly effective communicator with clear and concise writing and presentation skills.

    + Proficient computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite).

    + Ability to develop and manage workplans, schedules, and budgets.

    + Experience providing leadership to a diverse project team.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred.

    + Experience with Spatial Business Systems Substation Design Suite (SDS), Bentley MicroStation, and AutoCAD Electrical.

    Work Environment

    Mainly on-site in Vancouver, WA, with flexibility to work from home for up to 30 days per year. Enjoy a flexible work schedule, starting as early as 6:30am and finishing by 3:30pm.     Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $155000.00 - $215000.00/yr.
