Job Description

The Verification Engineer will work onsite in Sunnyvale, collaborating with a team of researchers and engineers to lead the electrical system level verification of advanced product designs. This role requires hands-on experience with verification methodologies and languages such as UVM and System Verilog.

Responsibilities

+ Define electrical verification methodologies for various systems by collaborating with researchers, architects, and design teams.

+ Develop and track detailed test plans for different modules and top-level systems.

+ Design, architect, and drive the implementation of scalable test infrastructure.

+ Create and enhance constrained-random verification environments using System Verilog and UVM, ensuring progress with coverage closure.

+ Own the execution, interpretation, and reporting of electrical system level verification work status and results.

+ Support system bring-up and debugging activities.

+ Clearly communicate test plans and results.

Essential Skills

+ Hands-on coding skills in System Verilog and UVM.

+ Knowledge of verification requirements definition.

+ Experience in owning areas of product verification.

+ Knowledge in defining architecture, designing, and driving implementation of test automation.

+ Working knowledge of C#, Python, and LabVIEW.

+ Experience with firmware verification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in gate-level simulations and low power UPF verification is a plus.

+ Experience in silicon bring-up activities is advantageous.

+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

+ 3 years of experience with verification methodologies and languages such as UVM and System Verilog.

Work Environment

The role requires working onsite in Sunnyvale for three days a week. The work involves collaborating closely with a team of researchers and engineers in a dynamic and innovative environment, utilizing advanced technologies and methodologies to achieve verification goals.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85.00 - $90.00/hr.
