Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and service tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our production machinery. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, as well as maintaining various types of equipment.

Responsibilities

+ Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

+ Ensure routine calibration and maintenance of a variety of electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

+ Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.

+ Maintain electrical equipment including electric motors, control boxes, welders, and PLCs.

+ Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems, both electrical and mechanical.

+ Repair and troubleshoot mechanical, electric, and hydraulic motors, as well as electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Essential Skills

+ Electrical troubleshooting

+ Hydraulics and pneumatics

+ Preventive maintenance

+ PLC troubleshooting

+ 2-4 years of experience troubleshooting PLCs

+ 2-4 years of experience with testing, installing, and maintaining relays

+ 2-4 years of experience dealing with hydraulics and pneumatics

+ Mechanical and industrial maintenance

+ Ability to read and interpret schematics

+ Experience with 3-phase electrical systems

+ 2-4 years of PLC programming

+ 2-4 years of electrical maintenance work

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in an industrial environment

+ Strong problem-solving skills

+ Attention to detail

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment

This position is based in an industrial environment with shifts from Monday to Friday. There are two first shift options: 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and two third shift options: 5:00 PM to 3:30 AM or 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Villa Rica, Georgia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00/hr.
