Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform a variety of mechanical duties on various aircraft models. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing malfunctions, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, or adjustment of various aircraft systems to prepare aircraft for flight and delivery to customers. You will also conduct routine inspections, troubleshooting, and modifications to meet company and FAA requirements.
+ Perform intermediate/heavy maintenance tasks without supervision
+ Conduct airframe, powerplant, and propeller repairs and modifications
+ Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting of airframe structures, engines, and aircraft systems
+ Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, and conduct engine run-ups on turbine engines
+ Change airframe systems, components, and conduct system checkouts
+ Install service bulletins and kits on airframes and engines
+ Comprehend and complete all Aircraft Manufacturer Scheduled Maintenance items
+ Remove and disassemble defective parts; assemble and install replacement parts; test aircraft systems
Essential Skills
+ A&P License preferred
+ Minimum of 2 years’ experience with diversified jet, turboprop, piston, modification, aircraft/flight maintenance, or airframe sheet metal maintenance
+ Experience in MRO environment is strongly preferred
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with corporate aircraft or any cirrus product such as Phenom, Embraer, Praetor, Legacy, Lineage, and Cirrus
+ Experience in aircraft maintenance repair, jet, line maintenance, and repair

Work Environment
You will work in a hangar at Music City Airport, with hours from Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4:30 PM. Some on-call or evening/weekend hours may be required.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gallatin, Tennessee.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
