Job Title: CNC Programmer
Job Description
This position is responsible for generating programs for various automated machining centers including sheet metal punching, laser cutting, and bending. The CNC programmer will work closely with machine operators, production supervisors, and manufacturing and design teams to improve machine utilization, efficiency, and reduce material waste.
Responsibilities
+ Program various automated CNC machines such as sheet metal punches, lasers, press brakes, and tube lasers.
+ Improve machine utilization, efficiency, and reduce material waste.
+ Determine tooling requirements and maintain tooling database.
+ Prepare material requisitions.
+ Troubleshoot programming and DXF file errors.
+ Prepare documentation to support production.
+ Perform all other tasks related to this position.
Essential Skills
+ CNC programming
+ Mastercam
+ Experience with CNC laser cutting machines and punch machines
+ Blueprint reading
+ Programming CNC
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Working knowledge of Salvagnini programming (S4, L5, B3) is an asset.
+ Good working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
+ Good communication skills.
+ Demonstrates good troubleshooting skills and resourcefulness.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $33.00/hr.
