Job Title: CNC Machine Operator (8th Shift)
Job Description
We are seeking CNC Machine Operators to produce quality, uncomplicated production parts per print specifications with continued direction.
Responsibilities
+ Under direct and continued training, demonstrate proper work methods and procedures, use of tools and equipment, and safe work practices.
+ Run written programs for CNC machines to produce production parts.
+ Perform simple machining operations to support cell deliveries with continual direction.
+ Comply with all rules and regulations outlined in the employee handbook.
+ Carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this position in support of department objectives and to develop one’s skills.
+ Adhere to CORE guidelines and perform CORE duties as required.
+ Adhere to all EH&S guidelines, including wearing of required personal protective equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Knowledge of basic machine shop practices.
+ Ability to use basic shop mathematics and work with a variety of precision measuring instruments, with continued guidance.
+ Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. independently.
+ Must be physically capable of bending, lifting, squatting, twisting, overhead reaching, standing on feet for long periods of time – up to 8 hours, and climbing stairs.

Work Environment
Work in a dynamic setting with advanced CNC machinery. The facility requires adherence to safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment. This role involves physical activity, such as standing for long periods and handling equipment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clayville, New York.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
