Job Title: Skilled Laborer

Job Description

Join a dynamic team tasked with ensuring the smooth preparation of construction sites. As a laborer, you will work alongside a crew of 3-4 members, including an operator and fellow laborers. Your primary tasks will involve smoothing dirt and rock using shovels, rakes, and other general hand tools. You may also have the opportunity to learn how to operate a remote dirt compactor.

Responsibilities

+ Work collaboratively with a crew to prepare construction sites.

+ Use shovels and rakes to smooth dirt and rock on the prep site.

+ Operate remote trench roller equipment as necessary.

+ Ensure the preparation of dirt inside the structure for horizontal concrete pouring.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in using construction tools such as shovels and rakes.

+ Experience with dirt preparation and trench rolling.

+ Minimum of 1 year of construction labor experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience working in dirt environments such as landscaping, dirt production, or ditch crews.

Work Environment

Work at a large commercial data center construction site, where the project is progressing rapidly. The current phase involves preparing the dirt inside the structure for concrete pouring. The environment is hands-on, requiring physical labor in dirt conditions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
