Job Title: Vacuum Truck Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vacuum Truck Operator with a Class A CDL license to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a Vac Truck and should have prior experience in this area. This role requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a crew. Experience with underground utilities, including locating, installing, and removing, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

+ Operate the Vac Truck safely and efficiently.

+ Work both independently and as part of a crew on various projects.

+ Run a line with a locator on most projects.

+ Hook up to gas, water, and sewer lines when required.

+ Meet at the shop in Northfield every morning by 6:30am.

+ Work onsite until project completion, with expected return to the shop by 6pm during summer.

+ Drive time to and from the shop to job sites is compensated.

+ Adapt to a project-based schedule during winter with consistent weekly hours.

Essential Skills

+ Class A CDL license.

+ Experience operating Vac Trucks.

+ Ability to work in a physically demanding and dirty environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with utility locating.

+ Experience with underground utilities.

+ Experience in pipeline and underground utility work.

Work Environment

Our work environment is dynamic and involves working outdoors in various conditions. Expect to work long hours during spring, summer, and fall from Monday to Friday, with optional shifts on Saturdays. Winter hours are project-based, but we strive to provide consistent work each week. As part of our team, you will be compensated for travel time to and from job sites.

The pay range for this position is $62000.00 - $83200.00/yr.
