Job Title: General Production
Responsibilities
+ Assemble equipment and large pumps as per prescribed assembly procedures and standard practices.
+ Perform diversified assembly and erection operations for all types of water pumping stations and component sub-assemblies or equipment to close tolerances and strict inspection requirements.
+ Do skilled fittings of parts, sub-assemblies, and related units.
+ Align, adjust, and perform required secondary machining.
+ Assign work, instruct, and check work and procedures for assemblers of lower classifications and helpers.
+ Work from complicated drawings and specifications.
+ Use a variety of precision measuring instruments and gauging devices.
+ Assignments are given progress supervision and final assemblies are inspected and tested.
+ Apply skill and assembling techniques, plus experience and knowledge of design and basic mechanical principles.
Essential Skills
+ 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience.
+ 2+ years of experience with hand and power tools.
+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and complicated drawings.
+ Knowledge of design and basic mechanical principles.

Pay bump of $0.50-$1/hour once hired on. Merit increases every January 1st. Potential for an end-of-year bonus of 6.5% of your annual salary. Tenured assemblers are making $25-$28/hour, and there are advancement opportunities to lead and supervisor roles.
Work Environment
Massive, climate-controlled warehouse that is very quiet. Only eye protection is required. The position is 1st shift, from 6am to 2:30pm--flexible hours and optional overtime available most weekends.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
