    Job Title: General Production Worker

    Job Description

    Join our team as a General Production Worker on the production line for an exciting new project. You will be responsible for assembling materials, operating machinery, and inspecting parts before preparing them for shipment. Additionally, you'll contribute to maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Assemble materials and operate machines on the production line.

    + Inspect parts after lifting them off the line and prepare them for shipment.

    + Assemble components as needed.

    + Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 6 months recent experience in a manufacturing environment.

    + Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, including car hoods made of plastic and foam.

    + Experience with visual inspection, identifying defects such as scratches, paint marks, and dents.

    + Demonstrated job longevity, with at least 8 months tenure at the last three positions.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Mechanical skills

    + Experience with machine operating

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a dynamic 6-person team operation. While the environment is currently being renovated, improvements are underway to ensure a cleaner workspace. The role requires wearing work pants, a work shirt, closed-toed shoes, safety glasses, and a face mask. The position involves working the 3rd shift from 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM, with availability required from Sunday to Saturday, typically 6-7 days a week.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of TROY, MI.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $16.35 - $16.35/hr.
