    Job Title: General Production Worker - 1st Shift

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker for the 1st shift. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that our production process runs smoothly and efficiently, focusing on quality and safety. Hours are 4am - 2:30pm Monday - Thursday with overtime on Fridays. Pay ranges from $17.50 - $19.00 based on interview.

    Responsibilities

    + Read process sheets to process and package castings according to customer specifications or supervisor instructions.

    + Safely use handheld high-speed abrasive tools, files, and hammers to remove metal from castings.

    + Verify conformance to specifications during air grinding operations.

    + Maintain equipment, including changing belts and lubrication as necessary.

    + Ensure cleanliness of the work area.

    + Contribute to team activities, including process and safety improvements.

    Essential Skills

    + General labor skills

    + Ability to use hand tools and operate machines

    + Good verbal and written communication skills

    + Strong attention to detail

    + Ability to work independently

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent preferred

    + No prior experience required as training will be provided

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
