Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
This role is crucial in enhancing the reliability and performance of manufacturing and infrastructure equipment. You will be responsible for maintaining plant equipment at optimum efficiency, using your troubleshooting skills to resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues. You will also play a role in the development and training of lower-level maintenance technicians, machine operators, and helpers.
Responsibilities
+ Perform routine maintenance and repair on sprockets, pumps, bearings, shafts, chains, conveyors, belts, and related equipment.
+ Conduct maintenance and repair on Hyperbaric HPP equipment.
+ Maintain and repair steam, pneumatic, water, hydraulic, and other piping equipment.
+ Use and interpret schematics and blueprints related to mechanical and electrical equipment.
+ Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and resolve identified issues.
+ Diagnose problems and implement corrective actions with minimal supervision.
+ Demonstrate working knowledge of lockout tagout and confined space entry procedures.
+ Maintain accurate maintenance database records.
+ Engage in ongoing personal development and stay updated on current maintenance techniques.
+ Participate in safety and housekeeping programs.
+ Perform other duties as directed by Plant Engineer, Maintenance Supervisor, Process Engineer, and Level A Technician.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and repair.
+ Experience in preventive maintenance and industrial equipment maintenance.
+ Familiarity with mechanical systems and regulated food and beverage environments.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in a food or beverage regulated environment is ideal.
+ Flexibility to work 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oceanside, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr.
