Job Title: Counter Representative

Job Description

This role involves a dynamic mix of responsibilities, including pulling parts, ordering parts, tracking inventory, and communicating with customers about their orders. Additionally, you will engage in sales activities by making cold calls to accounts under $5,000 with the aim of increasing sales. As a counter representative, you will spend approximately 75% of your time on parts clerk duties and 25% on sales calls to current customers.

Responsibilities

+ Pull and organize parts for customer orders.

+ Order and track inventory efficiently.

+ Communicate effectively with customers regarding their orders.

+ Make cold calls to accounts with sales under $5,000 to boost sales.

+ Maintain an organized inventory system.

+ Provide excellent customer service to enhance client satisfaction.

Essential Skills

+ Strong logistics and inventory management skills.

+ Proficiency in sales and customer service.

+ Experience in automotive parts and warehouse operations.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on feet for 8-10 hours a day.

+ Effective communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in supply chain and inventory control.

+ Knowledge of parts clerk and inventory clerk roles.

Work Environment

Join a team of 11 professionals working in a warehouse that, while not climate controlled, is equipped with heaters for comfort. The front resembles a store, while the back serves as a clean warehouse with boxes, tires, and parts organized on shelves and the ground. Work hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday, with the option to work weekends if desired.

This is a Permanent position based out of NA, Nebraska.

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $62400.00/yr.
