Yard Laborer

Job Description:

A fence contractor primarily involved in residential/commercial fence, gates, and automated gate systems is seeking a seasonal candidate to assist with deliveries and general yard tasks out of their Brooklyn Park location.

Responsibilities:

• Pick up and deliver parts efficiently while optimizing routes.

• Support the Yard & Shop Manager with additional material pickups and deliveries.

• Assist in lawn and grounds maintenance to keep the exterior clean and organized.

• Help the yard foreman with pulling, loading, and unloading materials for construction jobs.

• Maintain building cleanliness and restock bathroom and kitchenette supplies.

• Perform weekly truck inspections and ensure vehicle cleanliness.

• Collaborate with Fence Coordinators, Construction Manager, and Yard & Shop Manager to meet company goals in a fast-paced environment.

• Provide general assistance in parts pickup and delivery, grounds maintenance, and yard organization.

• Deliver excellent customer service and represent the company positively.

• Follow all safety and environmental policies and operate company vehicles safely.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience working in outdoor conditions, or construction

• Experience operating forklift or skid steer

• Computer literacy for data entry, and entering reports

• Clean driving record w/ Valid DL

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
